This client purchased a Couture For Living Furniture Package to get help with furnishing her newly purchased home. It is a gorgeous Victorian weatherboard home loaded with character. Having been recently renovated, the client was after a modern look yet sensitive to the era of the house.
We started with the entry. The home has gorgeous lead lighting, which inspired the suggestions for this area. You can see that the colours in the glass were the inspiration for the artwork and the decorator accessories. To not enclose the space, we suggested this Globe West Elle Slim Console table; it is only 25cm deep and works well. The opposite extra large leaning mirror reflects the display and keeps the area open. Black framing provide a consistent thread to the pieces and provide a modern twist.
The white marble top of the entry console was then repeated in the living room with a Globe West nest of Elle coffee tables and the base of the Silas floor lamp. We recommended a round rug for the Molmic Palisades modular to draw your eye and soften the room. #We often recommend the use of a round rug with L shape modular. They seem to draw the eye and create a warm welcoming feeling almost pleading with you to take a seat!!

Next we tackled the dining area. This is a lovely big space and could easily take this custom 3m long dining table hand crafted in Central Victoria. We paired it with these gorgeous velvet dining chairs and the hero of the room is this custom sized wall art. 2.2m high x 1.4m wide it brings all the colours of the room together perfectly.
We then moved on to the Primary Bedroom; custom-made Souk bed, new bedside tables, bedside lamps and all new linen. A lovely earthy room with a feature fireplace opposite the bed. The only wall the bed could be is this one in front of the window, so it was important we suggested a bed head that was not dominating and played hommage to the gorgeous sheers draped behind.
