PURCHASES FROM THE MAKE YOUR HOUSE A HOME ONLINE STORE ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING SHIPPING POLICIES, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS.
FLAT RATE* DELIVERY
*Purchases with flat rate delivery are delivered in Australia via Fastway Couriers or, if goods are to be delivered to a post office box, via Australia Post's registered service.
DELIVERY WITHIN BENDIGO/SURROUNDING AREAS
Delivery of large items in Bendigo and surrounding areas are outsourced and includes two delivery men. An assembly service is available, if required, at extra cost. Please get in touch with our store if you require more information regarding this additional service.
DELIVERY OF LARGER ITEMS TO OTHER AREAS IN AUSTRALIA
Price on application.
We welcome you to contact the store via email or phone at 03 5442 6093 to discuss the best delivery requirements for you. As is often the way, pricing can vary, and we wish to ensure that you have the best delivery price for your item.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We do not offer international delivery at this time.
STAIRS AND DIFFICULT DELIVERIES
All prices quoted are for standard deliveries and don’t allow for large items to be carried upstairs, into rural or outback areas or onto boats or otherwise difficult-to-reach buildings – if you have an unusual or difficult situation, please call, and we will provide you with a quote for your particular situation.
FREIGHT CONDITIONS
You are responsible as the purchaser to ensure that your purchased items fit inside your building. Please measure your access routes and doorways before finalising your purchase; always err on caution and add 15% to all measurements given on our website.
If an item cannot be delivered due to it not fitting in your building, you will be billed the restocking fee of 30% of the purchase price and freight costs both ways – so please measure your space accurately!!!
ORDER PROCESSING
Your order will be processed within 24 hours of your payment being cleared, and dispatch will be promptly organised when stock permits.
OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS
If your item is out of stock, you will be given the option to withdraw your order completely. If we do not receive correspondence from you within seven days, your order will be automatically sent to you when the item comes into stock.
We will always inform you of the status of the item you have ordered and the expected date of arrival if it is out of stock.
ORDER CANCELLATION
If your order is cancelled due to the stock not being available immediately and you don’t wish to wait for it to come into stock, we will refund you in full.
If your order is cancelled due to you changing your mind, a 30% re-stocking fee applies.
RETURNS
If your item arrives damaged in transit – please call us immediately on 03 5442 6093, and we will send you a replacement or offer you a refund. You are not expected to examine the goods while the courier waits; however, if you notice that the packaging is damaged or crushed, please note it on the courier's paperwork you are asked to sign. If your item is faulty, please contact us within three days to obtain a return authorisation to return the item for a replacement or refund.
We do not accept returns under the following circumstances:
- You are negligent in caring for your item resulting in damage
- Natural wear and tear caused after delivery
- Change of mind
COLOURS
The colours of items displayed on your computer monitor may vary from the true natural colour of the fabric. You can request a sample swatch before ordering; even then, there may be minor variations in colour swatches. While all efforts are made to provide accurate colour descriptions, there may be various reasons for colour inconsistencies, for example, due to different dye lots.
RESTRICTIONS
Make Your House A Home reserves the right to cancel any orders that breach its terms and conditions of use. Users under 18 years are permitted to use the Make Your House A Home website but are forbidden to purchase without the consent and presence of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years. Make Your House A Home reserves the right to cancel orders, cancel or suspend accounts at their sole discretion without prior notice.
Make Your House A Home reserves the right to amend our terms and conditions when necessary. Terms and conditions in force at the time of purchase will apply to your order.
ERRORS & OMISSIONS EXCEPTED (E&OE)
"Errors and Omissions Excepted" means that this website may still contain errors while care is taken to ensure all relevant information is present and correct. If you find an error or omission, please let us know, and we will correct it as soon as possible.
We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused. Still, we cannot always offer you the exact described product at the specified price if errors and/or omissions are present.
It is advisable to check specifications etc., before ordering.
SPECIAL NOTE: To the extent permitted by law, any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance or offer, invoice or other documents or information issued by Make Your House A Home shall be subject to correction without liability on the part of Make Your House A Home.
