This was a tricky room to furnish due to the way the room had been carpeted on an angle. We solved it by doing a nice long Molmic Crawford sofa with a Molmic Dune swivel chair and a big ottoman/foot stool in the middle. That way it is set up for tv watching or conversation just by a quick swivel. We created this cute little sitting area in what could have been an awkward space to furnish by adding a couple of Globe West Baha chairs floating on a round rug with a nice pair of wall art that works back well with the artwork on the same wall above the sofa. The artwork helps visually break up the space. We also had an angled wall to work with, so added an oversize, leaning mirror. These clients were also on the hunt of a new dining suite so we suggested this Globe West mix of a Huxley curve dining table in Oak paired up with some Cleo chairs in Vintage tan PU for easy cleaning. The inspiration for the dining chair colour choice was the existing coffee table which is very sentimental to the clients and something they really wanted to keep. We love mixing existing pieces in with new... We also suggested the Magic rug in the colour Mineral from The Rug Collection and a new custom Molmic Capeshank modular in this lovely denim fabric with custom window seat cushion and lots of new fresh cushions.
