This design job was delivered and installed in early May 2022. When I say it was a big job, I am not joking.. 4 truck loads of furniture, 5 team members, and some enthusiastic homeowners = I am sure you will agree, one incredible result!!!

These proud homeowners came to Make Your House A Home for help furnishing their new home. It is their dream home and has amazing fixtures and fittings, but being so big, they were struggling with how to furnish it. They purchased the Couture for Living Furniture Package and entrusted us to help them.
I was brimming with ideas from the moment I entered their gorgeous home... I took a video of all the spaces, took some samples of the flooring to reference, and set to work. About the only request they had was for some colour, they had no particular colour/s in mind, so I took inspiration from the gorgeous artwork they already own.
We met at our showroom, where I ran them through the ideas, presented them with a mood board (pictured above) showed them samples of the suggested pieces, swatches of the fabrics (pictured above) and showed them on the floorplan the scale of everything. They were excited, loved it all, and said yes to everything!!! - dream clients, I know!!
Fast forward six months, and we were ready to deliver. The big furniture pieces were Australian-made, so due to their size, we had them delivered directly to the site on the day of delivery. A truck full of sofas direct from Molmic in Melbourne, a truck full of timber furniture direct from our timber manufacturer in Central Victoria, and two truckloads from Bendigo. To set the scene, here are some photos:
Install day - 1st truck unloaded and Ange on unpacking duties while the Furnish boys start to lay out the rugs for correct furniture placement.
The empty entry area is waiting to come alive, and the main bedroom is prepared for the new custom bedroom suite.
Our clients have a motorised bed so the new upholstered bed made by our upholstery team, Furnish had to be slightly modified so the mechanics of the bed are completely concealed.

Notice how we have used the existing artwork in this room and displayed on the custom 4m long floating tv unit some artefacts and collectibles the owners already had.
A close-up of some of the custom furniture: We used American Oak for all the timber pieces to tie back to the existing timber top on the kitchen raised bar, which is also American Oak. The legs of the dining chairs were stained black to tie back to the legs on the custom 4m x 1.5m dining table (yes, it is a 16-seater). There are going to be some great dinner parties here!
We are still not finished though. The outdoor furniture for the Pool Pavilion is yet to come. It is expected to arrive later in the year, so I will post more pictures then.
