This home was built with budget in mind and the brief was to jazz the house up with the use of furnishings and colour. We achieved this through the clever use of painted walls and great furniture and accessories. The result is a very light, airy home, perfect for family life.

On entering the home you will notice a lovely blue wall defining the home entertainment area of the lounge room. This blue is from Solver and is called Homeward Bound. Immediately to the right, you will see the office, which has a feature wall in a lovely golden colour, called Adobe, also from Solver. Then immediately left is the master bedroom, which features a wall in the same colour.

The lounge room is painted in Solver Sugarcane, as is the whole house. Rust coloured cushions scattered on the navy suede couches tie the rust in from the floor rug.

Using Laminex Silver Ash on the kitchen cupboards with the same light coloured timber furniture helps the kitchen integrate into the family/meals area. The kitchen bench tops are Wilsonart Imperial Topaz which has a navy blue through it, linking the navy through the whole area. We have then used splashes of red throughout the room to tie it all together. The result is a very light and appealing room.

The kids rooms all have themes, Madagascar, Hi-5 and cars all work well with the blank canvas of Solver Sugarcane.
